The Postal Service has been formally established and today launches its official website at postal.gov.vin. From Monday 7 September 2026 it will collect, sort and deliver mail across the Network under a single tariff.

All news- Postal Service Confirms Opening of Twelve Post Offices and Counters
Six post offices and six counters at the principal sites of the Network open on Monday 7 September 2026. The register of offices, their opening hours and the services available at each are published from today.
- Postal Service Publishes Tariff for Letters and Parcels
A single tariff applies to all mail posted within the Network from Monday 7 September 2026. A standard letter costs 1.20 credits at the ordinary rate and 1.80 credits at the priority rate; parcels are priced by weight in three bands.
- Postal Service Publishes Delivery Standards and First Statistical Release
The Service undertakes to deliver 93 per cent of priority mail on the next working day and 95 per cent of ordinary mail within two working days. Its first statistical release records 186,400 items handled during the transition period and 9,800 delivery points at establishment.
About the Postal Service
The Postal Service of the Velocity Interoperability Network collects, sorts and delivers letters and parcels across the Velocity Interoperability Network, operates post offices and counters at the principal sites and maintains the Network postcode scheme.
It provides a single tariff for all mail posted within the Network, publishes the delivery standards it undertakes to meet, and offers account posting, bulk mail and post office boxes to member organisations.
