The Postal Service of the Velocity Interoperability Network has been formally established. The Service is responsible for the collection, sorting and delivery of letters and parcels across the Network, for the operation of post offices and counters at the principal sites, for the Network postcode scheme, and for the postal services provided to member organisations.

With its establishment complete, the Service today launches its official website at postal.gov.vin. The site carries the register of post offices and their opening hours, the tariff for letters and parcels, the delivery standards the Service undertakes to meet, guidance on addressing and packing mail, and the Service's press releases and official statements.

The Service begins collections and deliveries under its own tariff on Monday 7 September 2026. The opening of its twelve post offices and counters, the publication of the tariff and the first statistical release are the subject of separate announcements published today. General enquiries may be sent to contact@postal.gov.vin.
