The Postal Service of the Velocity Interoperability Network today published the tariff that applies to letters and parcels posted within the Network from Monday 7 September 2026. The tariff replaces the separate arrangements of member organisations with a single scale of prices that applies at every post office and counter and to every post box.

Letters are priced in three formats by size and weight: the standard letter up to 100 grams, the large letter up to 250 grams and the large letter up to 500 grams. Parcels are priced in three weight bands up to 2, 10 and 20 kilograms. Each format is available at the ordinary rate, delivered within two working days across the Network, and at the priority rate, delivered on the next working day. Signed-for, tracked, insured and registered services may be added to any item.

Postage is sold at every post office and counter and, for account customers, through franking and account posting. The full tariff, together with the prices for post office boxes, redirection and holding, is set out on the Services and Prices page of this site. The Service will review the tariff annually and give at least one month's notice of any change in the Newsroom.
